Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Aotal is New Zealand's premier supplier of cloud based talent management solutions. Our core technology products include:

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for marketing, and an instinctive sense of how to best communicate brand messages and 'calls to action' through multiple channels. A tech-savvy and intuitive marketer, the ideal candidate will drive strong digital marketing outcomes for our business.

Duties include:

  • Assist in the development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy
  • Storytelling. To date we have specialised in flying under the radar - and boy have we got some great stories to tell!
  • Project manage our attendance at events, including key messaging, booth design, content creation etc
  • Develop, deliver and measure email campaigns
  • Coordinate inbound marketing leads plus support and assist the sales team as required
  • You will be a social media whizz and manage multiple disciplines; writing content, scheduling, posting, and reporting on effectiveness
  • Writing and coordinating the distribution of regular internal and external communications (including our monthly newsletter)
  • Management of the customers, leads, opportunities and accounts within our CRM system
  • Various administration, marketing, research, communications, PR and sales support activities as required

Ideal Candidate background

  • 3+ years experience and success in a similar marketing, sales and/or communications position
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick to grasp technical concepts
  • Ability to self-manage
  • Experience working in an environment where it is important to both take the lead and consult
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly professional and articulate, with a genuine passion for what you do
  • Strong organisational, administrative and project management skills
